Right To Water was founded on the belief that a water company can be radically honest about where its product comes from, radically transparent about where its money goes, and still compete on price. We're proving it from Petaluma, California and Aveiro, Portugal.
An entrepreneur who has built multiple tech businesses and seen the world by motorcycle, Jim founded Right To Water on a simple conviction: water is a right, not a commodity. His vision is to deliver clean water locally and invest in access globally — redirecting a fixed share of every sale to the communities that need it most, not to shareholders.
Grew up in New Jersey and New York, got a degree in English, made a career in IT, spent good time in other countries, found home in Petaluma. I've seen people walk miles with jerry cans to reach clean water, while I filled a filter at home or grabbed a plastic bottle on I-5 when I ran dry, none of which made sense for people or the planet. I've been looking for a way to make a living that was more aligned with my values. We're on our way.
